D.I.Y Lodge

We have designed a new concept with our Lodges in that we will build the external structure on your selected plot, we will roof it, clad it, install windows and prepare the services ready for connection. Your unit is then left for you to insulate, plaster-board and finish like conventional homes, giving the clean, solid interior and modern feel that most commercially manufactured lodges lack.
We are able to add extras while building your lodge to suit you, if you would like us to insulate and plasterboard, wire and plumb and just leave you to decorate then we can do that.

We build Lodges with the same materials, wall thicknesses, insulation and internal finishes as a normal new house, whilst still conforming to the definition of a Lodge / Mobile Home / Caravan, making them probably the best quality lodges available. These buildings have a lifespan of well over 100 years. They're not like most commercial park homes and static caravans that depreciate and deteriorate at a much quicker rate. The walls are 100 - 150mm thick, you choose, just like a new-build house. Our chassis are made of super thick timber beams instead of the metal chassis with wheels that most caravans have, this gives less movement and a greater structural integrity, it feels more solid under-foot. The tow-bar and wheels are detached. When finished, these lodges don't look any different from a regular building, both inside and out.
